It is with heavy hearts and shattered spirits that we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved Alexzander Drake Bernhardt, who was tragically taken from us on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at the tender age of 19. Words fail to capture the depth of this loss, the sorrow it has brought to his family, and the emptiness left behind in the space where his vibrant spirit once shined so brightly.
Alex—as he was lovingly known—was full of life, fun-loving, and free-spirited. He was the kind of young man who could walk into a room and instantly make people feel at ease. His laugh was infectious, his smile genuine, and his heart pure. Whether he was spending time with friends, talking to strangers, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with family, Alex brought light wherever he went. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved.
To know him was to love him—and that love now turns into grief, felt deeply by every soul he touched.
He was a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend. He wore all those titles with pride, offering unconditional love and laughter to each person fortunate enough to cross paths with him. He had big dreams, a curious heart, and a boundless zest for life—dreams that were cut short far too soon.
