In Loving Memory of Deacon Richard Griffin

With profound sorrow and heartfelt reverence, we announce the peaceful transition of our beloved Deacon Richard Griffin, a cherished and faithful member of Revival Time Evangelistic Center Ministries, who entered into eternal rest on July 9, 2025.

Deacon Griffin was a pillar of strength, humility, and unwavering faith within our congregation. His life was a testament to service — not only to the church but also to his community, family, and above all, to God. Known for his kind smile, gentle spirit, and steadfast commitment to ministry, he was a guiding light to many and a source of inspiration to all who had the honor of knowing him.

A Life of Faith and Service

Deacon Griffin faithfully served the Lord for decades, never wavering in his dedication to prayer, outreach, and uplifting others in their walk with Christ. Whether leading by example, offering counsel to young men in the church, or humbly working behind the scenes, his impact was deeply felt and will never be forgotten.

He was not just a deacon — he was a mentor, a friend, a father figure, and a spiritual warrior. His presence in the sanctuary was a comfort, his voice in prayer was powerful, and his compassion for others was genuine and enduring.

A Time to Remember

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we also pause to celebrate a life that was beautifully and purposefully lived. Deacon Griffin’s legacy is written in the hearts he touched, the lives he changed, and the spiritual seeds he planted.

Homegoing service details will be announced in the coming days, and we invite all who knew and loved him to join us in honoring his memory and offering comfort to his family during this difficult time.

Final Reflections

Deacon Richard Griffin’s absence will be deeply felt in every pew, every prayer meeting, and every corner of our ministry. Yet, we take comfort in knowing that he has received his heavenly reward — resting in peace and glory with the Savior he served so faithfully.

As Pastor Steve and the entire Revival Time Evangelistic Center Ministries family hold the Griffin family in prayer, we ask our community to continue lifting them up with love, compassion, and support.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of the Lord.” – Matthew 25:23

Rest well, Deacon Griffin. You ran your race with grace, and your reward is everlasting. You will forever remain in our hearts and our prayers.
