With deepest sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news that Kellyanne Lytal, a beloved 8-year-old camper at Camp Mystic, has been found and has tragically passed away following the catastrophic flash flooding that swept through the Texas Hill Country on July 4th, 2025.
Kellyanne’s death is a devastating blow not only to her family but also to the entire Camp Mystic community and all who knew and loved her. She was a joyful spirit, full of energy, curiosity, and compassion. Her days were spent singing with friends, exploring the outdoors, and radiating a love for life that made her a light in every room she entered.
