LONDON, Ky. (July 13, 2025) — The Kentucky State Police Post 11 is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Laurel County man who was last seen in the early morning hours of Friday, July 11, 2025. Authorities have issued a Golden Alert for Lance E. Williams, a 38-year-old London, Kentucky resident with known medical disabilities that may place him at greater risk.
According to officials, Lance was last seen at approximately 12:05 a.m. at his residence in Laurel County. He reportedly left on foot in an unknown direction, and family members grew concerned when he failed to return or make contact. The circumstances of his disappearance, paired with his medical condition, prompted law enforcement to issue the Golden Alert—an emergency notification designed for vulnerable or at-risk adults who go missing.
Lance E. Williams is described as:

- Age: 38
- Height: 5 feet 8 inches
- Weight: Approximately 120 pounds
- Hair/Eyes: Brown hair and brown eyes
- Last Seen Wearing: A tan shirt, blue or black shorts, and tan shoes
The Kentucky State Police emphasize that Lance does not have a vehicle and is believed to be on foot. His direction of travel remains unknown, and his medical condition may affect his ability to seek help or respond to others.
Trooper Blake Pennington is currently leading the ongoing investigation, which includes canvassing the area around Lance’s home, checking nearby surveillance footage, and speaking with friends, neighbors, and relatives.
