In Loving Memory of Joel Pawloski , President, OCC Marion County Chapter Devoted Husband | Patriot | Faithful Servant | Fierce Advocate

With profound sorrow and hearts full of grief, we share the news of the passing of Joel Pawloski, the esteemed President of our Marion County chapter. Joel passed away peacefully at 6:48 PM on July 12, 2025, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by those who loved him most.

Joel was so much more than a leader—he was a man of faith, a loyal American, a devoted husband, and a true brother to all who knew him. His life was a living testimony to purpose, service, and love. Whether standing strong in his Christian convictions, speaking up for liberty and truth, or encouraging those around him to lead with courage, Joel inspired people not just by his words, but by the way he lived.

As President of the Marion County OCC chapter, Joel embodied the mission with relentless passion. He was a tireless advocate for constitutional values, for community, and for the voices of everyday Americans. His leadership wasn’t just organizational—it was deeply personal. He called people to rise up, to take action, to believe that even in hard times, faith and resolve would light the way forward.

Yet behind every strong leader is a strong family, and Joel cherished his above all. His love for Susan, his wife and partner in all things, was evident to anyone who spent even a moment with them. Their bond was built on trust, prayer, laughter, and a shared commitment to causes bigger than themselves. Please keep Susan in your thoughts and lift her in prayer as she takes her first steps in this new chapter of life without her beloved Joel by her side.

To those of us on the OCC Board of Directors, and to the countless friends, members, and neighbors who came to know him, Joel Pawloski was truly one of a kind. His voice, his vision, and his warrior spirit will echo through everything we do moving forward. His absence will be felt deeply—but so too will his presence, in every act of courage, every stand for truth, and every prayer whispered in faith.

In honor of Joel’s memory, we ask all who knew him to pause in a moment of reflection and prayer, remembering the man who gave so much and asked so little. May his example continue to guide and strengthen us.

Joel, we miss you already. You were a servant-leader, a fighter, and a friend. Your legacy lives on.

With love and remembrance,

The OCC Board of Directors

Marion County Chapter
