In Loving Memory of Ekuah Ramsey-Gilbert (Sunrise – Sunset: July 10, 2025)

It is with the heaviest of hearts and deepest sorrow that the Ramsey-Gilbert family announces the passing of our beloved Ekuah Ramsey-Gilbert, who peacefully transitioned from this life on Thursday, July 10th, 2025, following an illness. Her passing has left a void that words can scarcely begin to express.

Ekuah was a radiant soul—a woman of unshakable strength, genuine compassion, unwavering faith, and boundless love. Whether through her infectious laughter, her listening ear, or the quiet strength she extended in every room she entered, Ekuah made an unforgettable impact on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. She embodied warmth, wisdom, and resilience, and her presence was a light to many in times of both joy and hardship.

To know Ekuah was to know grace in motion. She wore her love for others on her sleeve—always ready to uplift, encourage, and stand beside family, friends, and even strangers in need. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. A natural nurturer, a fierce advocate, a faithful friend—Ekuah’s legacy is etched in countless lives, stories, and memories.

Her family was the center of her world. She poured herself fully into every role she held—daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend—with a deep sense of purpose, faith, and love. Ekuah’s resilience in the face of hardship, her deep empathy, and her enduring joy even amid life’s most difficult trials are all testaments to her extraordinary spirit.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Ekuah now rests in peace, surrounded by divine love and free from pain. We will carry her memory forward with reverence and gratitude, continuing to reflect the light she gave so freely in our own lives.
