It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Jessica, a beloved mother, friend, and pillar of her community. For many, Jessica was a vibrant presence—someone who could light up any room she entered, a devoted coworker, and a fiercely loving family member. To James Biggers (Owen), Jessica was so much more: she was his bonus mom, the woman who entered his life when he was just two years old and helped shape the person he has become.
Jessica passed away on the night of Saturday, July 12, 2025, after a long and challenging week in the hospital. Surrounded by love in her final moments, Jessica leaves behind an enduring legacy of compassion, strength, and warmth that touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her two incredible children:
- Riley, her daughter, who will turn 17 on July 22 and is preparing to graduate high school this year, and
- Kannon, her 12-year-old son, who now faces the difficult journey of adolescence without his mother’s guiding presence.
Jessica’s passing leaves a deep void in the lives of her family and community. To honor her memory and support her children, James has established a GoFundMe campaign to assist with the costs of her memorial and celebration of life, scheduled for Saturday, July 19. Any funds remaining after covering these expenses will be dedicated to Riley and Kannon’s future needs—whether education, daily essentials, or the stability they deserve in this difficult time.
Jessica’s life was defined by her strength, her laughter, her fierce protectiveness, and her boundless generosity. This celebration of life will reflect her spirit—a gathering filled with joy, remembrance, and love.
The family and all who loved Jessica deeply appreciate the outpouring of support, whether through donations, sharing this message, or offering kind thoughts. In times of loss, community matters, and Jessica’s legacy will live on through the love she gave and inspired.
