It is with a broken heart and immense sorrow that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Charlie Beck, who left this world far too soon on July 13, 2025, at the age of 40.
Charlie was a man who meant so much to so many. A devoted husband, a selfless father, a beloved uncle, and a friend to all who knew him, Charlie’s warmth and spirit touched lives everywhere he went. His passing has left our family—and all who loved him—absolutely devastated.
Charlie shared a once-in-a-lifetime love with his wife, Kelly Weir Beck. They fell for each other as teenagers and built a life grounded in love, laughter, and resilience. Together, they raised three beautiful daughters:
• Olivia (9)
• Aspen (7)
• Hayden (6)
Charlie was the kind of father who played, listened, encouraged, and loved unconditionally. His girls were his whole world, and he poured his heart into giving them a life full of joy, safety, and adventure.
Not long ago, Charlie and Kelly made a courageous decision to move their young family to Alaska. They dreamed of a fresh start and a new chapter surrounded by nature, beauty, and the promise of shared adventure. But now, in the cruelest twist of fate, that dream has been shattered. Charlie’s sudden passing has left Kelly facing the unimaginable — raising their three daughters alone, while also preparing to uproot their lives once more to return home to New York to be closer to family.
In the midst of this tragedy, we are coming together to support Kelly and the girls in every way we can. We have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the immense burden now on Kelly’s shoulders. Donations will be used to:
- Cover funeral and memorial expenses for Charlie
- Assist with moving costs to bring the family back to New York
- Provide short-term financial stability as Kelly transitions to life as a single parent
- Support Olivia, Aspen, and Hayden’s emotional and material needs during this heartbreaking time
This is a time of profound grief, but also a time to show up for a family that has always given love and kindness so freely. Any contribution—no matter how small—will go directly toward helping Kelly and her girls begin to rebuild a life without the man who was their foundation.
If you are unable to donate, we ask that you share this page and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. Your love, support, and compassion mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for walking beside us in this time of unimaginable sorrow.
With love and gratitude,
Mariah Coolbeth and Family
