CORINTH, Miss. —The incident occurred at a residence located on Mathis Road and was reportedly triggered by an argument over a vehicle. The victim, identified as Michael Gunn, sustained injuries severe enough to require surgery at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He remains hospitalized as he recovers from his wounds. Authorities have named 29-year-old Jacob Gaige Moss of Corinth as the suspect in the shooting.

Moss is described as a white male, standing approximately 6 feet tall, with noticeable tattoos on his arms. His last known residence is 1511 Washington Street in Corinth.
