Authorities Seek Public’s Help Identifying Young Boy Found in William and Bright Street Area

CHEEKTOWAGA, NY — Authorities are asking for the public’s urgent assistance in identifying a young boy who was found wandering alone in the area of William Street and Bright Street. The child, who is believed to be around 3 years old, was located early Friday morning and is currently in the safe custody of local law enforcement and child welfare services.

According to the Cheektowaga Police Department, the boy told officers that his name is Jason, but he was unable to provide any further identifying information, such as a last name, parent or guardian names, or an address. He appeared to be in good physical condition and was alert but understandably confused and disoriented when he was found.

What We Know So Far
