Remembering Amanda Lynn Stevens (1989–2025)

Galeton, Pennsylvania -With deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance, we share the passing of Amanda Lynn Stevens, who left this world too soon on July 19, 2025, at the age of 36. A lifelong resident of Galeton, PA, Amanda was known and loved by many for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering kindness.

A Life of Service and Compassion

Born on June 8, 1989, in Coudersport, Amanda graduated from Galeton Area High School and dedicated her life to caring for others. Whether working as a caregiver to the elderly, a housekeeper, or a waitress at the Plaza Café, Amanda’s greatest joy came from helping and connecting with those around her. Her friendly nature and thoughtful presence left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Loved by Many

Amanda was the beloved daughter of George and Monica (Button) Stevens of Galeton. She is survived by her brother, Justin Button and his wife Keisha, of Coudersport; her grandparents, Edward and Bonnie Stevens of Ulysses; four nephews, a niece, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Carolyn Button, with whom she shared a special bond.

Amanda’s love for her family was evident in everything she did. Her caring spirit, big heart, and radiant smile brought comfort and joy to those lucky enough to know her.

In Celebration of Her Life

Amanda will be laid to rest at Button Cemetery in Galeton. In honor of her life and the compassion she showed others, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice. Giving back was part of who Amanda was, and continuing that legacy is a beautiful way to remember her.

Forever in Our Hearts

Amanda Lynn Stevens will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched—with every kind word, every act of care, and every moment of warmth she shared. May we carry her memory forward with the same grace and compassion she gave so freely.
