Teen Victim Identified as Camron Anthony Adams in Prince George’s County Morning Shooting

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A quiet Sunday morning on Killarney Street turned tragic when gunfire claimed the life of 17-year-old Camron Anthony Adams and wounded an adult man. Prince George’s County Police officers rushed to the 6900 block of Killarney Street at roughly 11:20 a.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls.

Arriving patrol units found Camron inside a car, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite rapid medical aid, the teenager succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Friends and family now mourn a young man remembered for his kindness and promise, just weeks away from his senior year.

Nearby, officers discovered a second victim—an adult male—who had also been hit by gunfire. Paramedics transported him to a hospital, where doctors determined his wounds were serious but not life-threatening.

Detectives spent Sunday and Monday canvassing the neighborhood, collecting surveillance footage, and interviewing witnesses. As of Monday afternoon, investigators had not identified a motive or named any suspects. PGPD is urging anyone with information that might shed light on what led to the deadly confrontation to contact their Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512. Callers may remain anonymous.

A department spokesperson called the killing of Camron Anthony Adams “a senseless act that stole a bright future,” vowing that detectives will “work relentlessly until those responsible are held accountable.”

As candles are lit and tributes appear online for Camron, the community hopes cooperation with police will bring swift justice and prevent more families from suffering similar heartbreak.
