MILWAUKEE, WI — A community is reeling after the Milwaukee Police Department confirmed that 26-year-old Parrie Jackson was fatally shot in a violent incident that unfolded Sunday afternoon, July 20, 2025.
According to authorities, officers were dispatched to the area of 55th Street and Custer Avenue shortly before 1:00 p.m., responding to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival at approximately 12:55 p.m., police discovered Parrie Jackson suffering from a critical gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, Jackson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Milwaukee Police say they are actively searching for an unknown suspect involved in the shooting. At this time, no arrests have been made, and investigators are working diligently to determine a motive for the fatal act of violence.
