CHILTON COUNTY, AL — A community is heartbroken and in mourning after a devastating tragedy claimed the life of a young boy in Chilton County. Noah Jovani, a bright, joyful 7-year-old child, lost his life following a vicious dog attack in the Calera area, near County Road 147, on the evening of Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
According to the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 6:10 p.m. after an emergency call reported a serious dog attack. Upon arrival, they found Noah with critical injuries sustained from what authorities believe was a violent mauling by one or more aggressive dogs. First responders worked quickly, and Noah was transported for emergency medical treatment. Despite valiant efforts by medical personnel, the young child tragically succumbed to his injuries.
