Tragic Shooting in Birmingham Claims Life of 32-Year-Old Devin Wayne Hughes

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The city of Birmingham is reeling after a tragic shooting claimed the life of 32-year-old Devin Wayne Hughes, a local man remembered by many for his big heart and resilient spirit. Devin was found fatally shot inside a car that had crashed into the front yard of a residence around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
