GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (July 27, 2025) — Authorities in Greenville County have launched a full-scale investigation into the heartbreaking death of an infant late Saturday night in Simpsonville, a quiet suburban community now shaken by tragedy.
According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a residence in Simpsonville shortly before midnight following a 911 call reporting an unresponsive infant. Emergency medical personnel responded swiftly and immediately began life-saving efforts. Despite all attempts to resuscitate the child, the infant was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
