ESCAPE ALERT: Two Female Inmates Flee Owensboro Facility After Removing Ankle Monitors — Public Assistance Urgently Needed

The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 16 and the Department of Probation and Parole are actively searching for two female inmates who escaped custody in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Timeline of Escape

On Monday, July 28, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m. CDT, Kentucky Probation and Parole officials contacted KSP Post 16 to report that two women residing at Dismas Charities Owensboro had removed their court-mandated ankle monitors and fled from the facility.

The pair were both under community supervision and living at the halfway house-style facility located in Owensboro. Their last known location was at or near the Dismas Charities residence, but they have not been seen or heard from since the time of their escape.

Authorities have since issued escape alerts, and multiple law enforcement agencies are working together to locate and apprehend the fugitives.

    • Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument – 2nd Degree

Latavia Green

  • Age: 25
  • Height: 5’05”
  • Weight: 132 lbs
  • Eye Color: Black
  • Hair Color: Black
  • Known Offenses:
    • Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument – 2nd Degree (Identity-related)

Both individuals have a known history of fraud and forgery-related offenses. Authorities caution that they should not be approached if seen.
