The tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Dovydas has left a void in our lives that feels both unimaginable and unbearable. His passing has shaken the very core of our family, and while words cannot truly capture the depth of our sorrow, we want to take a moment to express our profound gratitude for the extraordinary love and support we have received during this difficult time.
In the face of heartbreak, we have been humbled and uplifted by the compassion of our community — friends, neighbors, and extended family members who have surrounded us with care and comfort. Your presence, your words, and your actions have been a beacon of light in our darkest hours.
To everyone who came to the wake and funeral, who sent heartfelt messages, shared cherished memories, or simply held us in your thoughts and prayers — thank you. You reminded us that grief, while deeply personal, does not have to be endured alone. Your support helped us find the strength to say goodbye with grace and dignity.
We are especially moved by the many acts of kindness that have flowed so generously into our lives. Every meal lovingly delivered to our home, every bouquet of flowers, every note, every warm embrace, every shared tear — each gesture has lightened our burden and shown us the depth of the love that surrounds us.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible relatives, whose support has been unwavering. You stood by us not just in grief, but in action — helping with arrangements, shouldering responsibilities, and offering the quiet comfort that only family can provide. You have been our anchor, and we are eternally grateful.
We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to the first responders, clergy, and funeral directors who handled every moment with compassion and care, and who helped us honour Dovydas’s life with the respect, beauty, and reverence he deserved.
Though we will forever mourn his loss, we hold tightly to the memories of who Dovydas was: a bright, kind-hearted young man with a soul full of love and generosity. He was always the first to help, to listen, to care — whether it was a stranger in need or someone close to his heart. His spirit was gentle but strong, and his impact on those around him was profound.
As we move forward, we ask that you carry his memory with you. Remember Dovydas for his radiant smile, his selflessness, his warmth. Let his legacy live on in the acts of kindness you show to others, in the love you give freely, and in the light you bring to the world — just as he did.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing with us, grieving with us, and remembering Dovydas with the love he so freely gave.
With deepest gratitude and love,
Stela, Vidmantas, John, and Agnė
