It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the tragic and untimely passing of Parker Leeth, age 34, who lost his life in a fatal train accident in south Caddo Parish in the early hours of Monday, July 28, 2025.
According to the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office, Parker was struck by a train along the tracks near Norris Ferry Road and Wildoak Drive, and was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 4:18 a.m. He was positively identified through fingerprint comparison.
At this time, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. While no autopsy was ordered, toxicology tests are currently pending, and authorities are working to determine the full context of what led to this heartbreaking event.
Parker’s sudden death has left his family, friends, and community in mourning. Known to many for his kind heart, gentle soul, and quiet strength, Parker touched the lives of those around him in many meaningful ways. Whether it was through his work, his friendships, or his presence in the community, he made an impact that will not be forgotten.
