HOUSTON, TX – A tragic act of violence late Tuesday night has sparked an urgent manhunt across Houston, as authorities seek 38-year-old Omar Marzouk, who has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a contract worker outside a local business.
The incident occurred late in the evening on Tuesday, when Houston police responded to reports of a shooting outside a commercial property. Upon arrival, officers found 32-year-old Jimmy Arevalo, a contract worker, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Arevalo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following a preliminary investigation, Omar Marzouk was quickly identified as the primary suspect in the case. According to investigators, Marzouk and Arevalo were involved in some form of altercation outside the business shortly before the shooting took place.
