LEBANON POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN HOMICIDE OF REAGAN WILSON AND UNBORN CHILD

LEBANON, MO — A major breakthrough in a devastating homicide case has come as Sidney Fredrick Wilson V was arrested and formally charged in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Reagan Lynn Wilson and her unborn son, Silas. The tragic incident occurred earlier this summer, shaking the Lebanon community and prompting a widespread multi-agency investigation.

Wilson has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and armed criminal action. He is currently being held without bond at the Laclede County Jail, as authorities prepare for what is expected to be a closely watched prosecution.

The fatal shooting occurred on June 5, 2025, when Lebanon Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of North Adams Avenue at approximately 11:37 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Reagan Wilson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pregnant at the time of the shooting and was pronounced dead shortly after the incident. Despite efforts to save her unborn son, Silas tragically passed away on June 13, 2025, just days after the loss of his mother.

Lebanon Police Chief Bryan Harrison addressed the press following the arrest, expressing deep sorrow for the loss of Reagan and Silas, while emphasizing the department’s unwavering commitment to justice:

“Our entire team mourns the loss of this young mother and child. This was a senseless and heart-wrenching act of violence. Our team and our partners are disgusted by this loss of life and will relentlessly pursue justice for Reagan and her child. We are fully committed to seeing this case through and ensuring accountability at every level.”

Chief Harrison extended his gratitude to the numerous agencies that collaborated on the arrest and ongoing investigation, including the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Special thanks were also directed to Governor Mike Kehoe’s Relentless Pursuit Team, which played a critical role in coordinating the suspect’s apprehension.
