Reidsville, NC – August 1, 2025 — The Reidsville Police Department is actively investigating the sudden and unexpected death of 64-year-old Ponsa Deleon Miller, a resident of Greensboro, North Carolina.
At approximately 12:12 p.m. on August 1, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of North Scales Street in response to a report of a cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Miller unresponsive at the scene. Emergency medical personnel from Rockingham County EMS responded shortly after and officially pronounced Mr. Miller deceased.
While the incident was initially reported as a medical emergency, authorities are treating the case with due diligence to determine if there were any suspicious or contributing circumstances. An investigation is ongoing to establish the cause of death, which may include further medical examination or an autopsy.
