In Loving Memory of Ena J. Henderson ,Sunrise: — | Sunset: August 1, 2025

It is with deeply saddened hearts and reverent spirits that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Ena J. Henderson, who departed this earthly life on August 1st, 2025. Her passing marks the end of an era for her family and all who knew her, as she embodied the spirit of strength, humility, and unconditional love.

Born to Francisca Riverol and Marcelo Riverol, Ena’s life was one of grace and service. She was a guiding light, a nurturer, and a source of wisdom to generations. Her heart beat for her family, and through her selfless devotion and unwavering faith, she created a legacy that will live on for decades to come.

She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, her dear brothers Marcelo Riverol and Maximiliano Riverol Jr., her beloved sisters Luciola Alpuche and Nelda Charaf, and her precious grandson Christopher Henderson—each of whom she now reunites with in eternal peace.

Ena is survived by her devoted husband, Elmo Henderson, who stood by her side through life’s seasons, their love enduring over the years as a model of commitment and partnership.

She also leaves behind the pride of her heart—seven loving children:

Her legacy continues to blossom in her sixteen grandchildren, each of whom carries a part of her strength and grace:

Brian, Harvey, Michelle, Ena, Tracy, Merlin, Julie, Christy, Hristov, Jahmeer, Eiza, Ezra, Sophia, Abner, Leomar, and Erica.

And in her sixteen great-grandchildren, who represent the joy and future she nurtured:

Dashawn, Aeden, Nikita, Ricky, Darena, Randy, Raheem, Matias, Rianna, Rosita, Chelsea, Nathan, Micah, Aliyah, Alessia, and one more whose life she touched with love.

Ena also held a very special place in her heart for her cherished niece Zeni Perdomo, who stood by her as both family and friend.

She is also mourned by her loving siblings:

Ruben Riverol, Linda Castillo, Duly Castellanos, and Conchi Riverol—each a reminder of the strong family bond that shaped Ena’s life.

A woman of resilience, faith, and boundless generosity, Ena’s impact reached far beyond the walls of her home. Her counsel was sought in times of uncertainty, her embrace brought comfort in moments of sorrow, and her laughter lit up even the darkest days.

To know her was to know warmth. To love her was to be truly blessed.

Rest well, Mama Ena. You will forever be remembered, forever be missed, and forever be loved.
