The Valatie Fire Department is deeply saddened to announce the passing of one of our most cherished and respected members, Ralph C. Sitcer. A Life Member with an extraordinary 59 years of service, Ralph’s legacy is woven into the very fabric of our department and our community.

His memory is etched into every inch of our firehouse—from the apparatus bays to the meeting room—and his presence will be deeply missed at every gathering.
