VALDOSTA, GEORGIA – A chaotic and terrifying scene unfolded Saturday afternoon at the Valdosta Mall, plunging what began as a typical summer shopping day into violence, fear, and tragedy. According to local authorities, two people have been confirmed dead and three others remain in critical condition following a violent incident that erupted shortly after 3:30 p.m.
Shoppers and employees described the mall as packed with families, teenagers, and visitors escaping the summer heat when the situation took a sudden and violent turn.
