Officers initially responded to the scene after receiving a Medic assist call regarding a man suffering from what were described as life-threatening injuries.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered Mouzon with multiple stab wounds and signs of blunt force trauma consistent with being hit by a vehicle. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics but was later pronounced dead due to the severity of his injuries.
