WANTED: Nametrius McClam — Murder Suspect Considered Armed and Dangerous

AUGUSTA, GA — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has issued a WANTED alert for 18-year-old Nametrius McClam, who is now the prime suspect in a deadly shooting that occurred on August 3rd on the 3400 block of Deans Bridge Road.

The tragic incident claimed the life of 14-year-old Deandre Howell and left three others injured, sending shockwaves through the community. Law enforcement officials have identified McClam as armed and dangerous, and are urging the public to exercise extreme caution.

According to investigators, McClam is known to frequent the Meadowbrook Drive area, and residents in and around that community are being asked to remain vigilant. Active warrants for murder and aggravated assault have been issued against him.
