In Loving Memory of Frank J. Young a Dedicated Teamster, Devoted Family Man, and Cherished Friend

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Frank J. Young, affectionately known to many as “Frankie.” A proud and loyal Teamster, Frankie was a respected member of Local 191 for over 30 years. His commitment to his union brothers and sisters, his selfless attitude, and his unwavering work ethic left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him.

Frankie was more than just a member—he was a cornerstone of the Local 191 family. Whether it was lending a helping hand during union events, supporting fellow members during negotiations, or simply offering encouragement to a new recruit, Frankie could always be counted on. He was someone who showed up—reliably, humbly, and with a generous heart.

After three decades of dedicated service, Frankie retired in 2019. Even in retirement, his presence remained strong among his Teamster family. His legacy continues to live on in the many lives he touched and the example he set for younger generations of workers—showing what it meant to lead with loyalty, humility, and heart.

Outside of his work and union service, Frankie’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Lynda, his loving children Alyssa, Julia, and Ernest, and his treasured granddaughter Stella, who brought endless joy to his later years. He was a devoted husband, a nurturing father, and an adoring grandfather who placed his family above all else. His love for them was evident in everything he did.

Frankie’s passing is a tremendous loss not only to his family and friends but also to the entire Local 191 community. His warm spirit, sharp wit, and loyal nature will be deeply missed. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life lived with honor, purpose, and compassion.

We extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Lynda, Alyssa, Julia, Ernest, and little Stella. Please keep the Young family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of profound grief.

To Frankie—thank you for your decades of service, your kindness, and your unwavering commitment to those around you. You were truly one of a kind.

Rest in peace, Brother. You will always have a place in the heart of Local 191.
