Point Blank, Texas — The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Allison Odom following a disturbing case of child neglect uncovered during a CPS welfare check at her residence in Point Blank.
Deputies responded to the home after receiving a request from Child Protective Services expressing concern for the safety of two young children. Upon arrival, law enforcement conducted an on-scene investigation, which led to the immediate arrest of Allison Odom. She has been charged with Abandoning/Endangering a Child and was booked into the San Jacinto County Jail without incident.
Both children were evaluated at a local hospital and later released into the custody of a family member. CPS remains actively involved, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the full scope of the situation.
Authorities confirmed that Odom’s actions posed a clear risk to the welfare of the children, prompting swift intervention.
The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to work closely with CPS to ensure the children’s safety and to hold those responsible accountable.
