Edwin Joseph Frank Arrested in Spring Hill on Multiple Child Pornography and Bestiality Charges

SPRING HILL, FL – A disturbing investigation led by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of Edwin Joseph Frank, a resident of Hanging Moss Loop in Spring Hill. Frank is facing several serious charges related to child pornography and bestiality, following the execution of a search warrant at his home.

According to authorities, detectives received a tip regarding the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). After further investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Edwin Frank. During a search of his residence, electronic devices were seized, leading to the discovery of files containing explicit content involving minors and animals.

The Sheriff’s Office reports that Frank admitted ownership of the email, phone number, and social media accounts associated with the explicit materials. Although he initially denied sharing the material, he eventually acknowledged participating in the conversation where the files were distributed.

As a result, Edwin Joseph Frank, age not disclosed in the report, has been charged with the following:

•Four (4) counts of Possession of Child Pornography

•Three (3) counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child with Intent to Promote

•One (1) count of Sexual Activities Involving Animals

•One (1) count of Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device

Frank is currently being held at the Hernando County Detention Center without bond. The Sheriff’s Office stated that the case remains under active investigation and that all seized devices are undergoing forensic analysis for additional evidence.

In a statement, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office reaffirmed their commitment to protecting children and prosecuting individuals involved in such heinous crimes.

“These types of offenses will be met with the full weight of the law. We urge anyone who suspects similar criminal activity to contact law enforcement immediately,” a department spokesperson said.
