Town of Trenton, WI – A tragic two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning has left one person dead and another with potentially life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, along County Highway A, north of Breezy Point Road, in the Town of Trenton, Dodge County.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene at approximately 5:55 a.m. following reports of a head-on collision. The crash involved a blue 2011 BMW Alpina sedan traveling southbound and a 2017 Kia Sorento SUV heading northbound.
Preliminary Findings
Initial investigation indicates that the BMW, driven by a 46-year-old man from Portage, Wisconsin, crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with the Kia, which was being driven by a 35-year-old woman from Beaver Dam.
The impact was devastating. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, and emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene.

Emergency responders, including the Beaver Dam Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, UW-Health Med Flight, the Dodge County Emergency Response Team (DCERT), and the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, arrived and rendered immediate aid to both drivers.
- The male driver of the BMW was critically injured and airlifted by UW-Health Med Flight to Aurora Summit Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
- The female driver of the Kia was transported by ground ambulance to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam. Despite lifesaving efforts by paramedics and hospital staff, she was later pronounced deceased due to the severity of her injuries.
