SACRAMENTO, CA –The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation following a tragic shooting that left an 11-year-old child injured after a confrontation between neighbors at an apartment complex located in the 5600 block of Florin Road.
According to authorities, the incident unfolded following an escalation of a dispute between residents in the area. During the altercation, a 25-year-old male resident of the complex allegedly discharged a firearm, striking the child in the leg.
The young victim, whose identity has not been released due to their age, was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
