The Roseburg, Oregon, community is grieving the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Kaylie York, a beloved daughter, friend, and colleague whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal accident. Known for her bright smile, generous heart, and unwavering positivity, Kaylie touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, friendship, and love.
A graduate of Roseburg High School, Kaylie was well-loved by her peers and formed lifelong friendships that endured well beyond her school years. She built a career as an Administrative Office Assistant at Anthony Beckham, The Beckham Group, where she earned the admiration of her colleagues for her professionalism, uplifting spirit, and genuine care for those around her. Co-workers remember her as someone who could brighten any room, effortlessly making others feel valued and appreciated.
Born in Kingman, Arizona, Kaylie later made Roseburg her home, embracing the community and building a life filled with meaningful connections. She was someone who approached life wholeheartedly, surrounding herself with friends, family, and experiences that brought joy not only to herself but to those around her. Her warmth, humor, and compassion were constants in the lives of the people who loved her most.
Messages of grief and remembrance have poured in from friends, colleagues, and her alma mater. Roseburg High School shared a heartfelt tribute:

A graveside service honoring Kaylie’s life will be held at Riddle Cemetery, 2787 Riddle Bypass Road, Riddle, OR 97469, on Thursday, August 14, at 10 a.m. The service is open to all who knew and loved her. Seating will be limited, and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs if needed.
Though her time here was far too short, Kaylie’s impact will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished, her laughter remembered, and her love felt for years to come.
She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
