Family Seeks Justice in Murder of Christopher Santana — Public Urged to Share Information

New Haven, Connecticut – The family of Christopher Santana, 25, is pleading for the public’s help in finding the individuals responsible for his killing, hoping that renewed attention will lead to justice. Santana was fatally shot on the afternoon of December 2, 2024, in the rear parking lot of 730 George Street in New Haven.

According to the New Haven Police Department (NHPD), officers were dispatched at approximately 3:23 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a person shot. When they arrived, they found Santana lying on the ground, unresponsive, while an individual on scene attempted CPR. Officers continued life-saving efforts until American Medical Response (AMR) personnel transported him to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Investigators say Santana had been driving with another male passenger when he pulled into the rear of the apartment complex. As the vehicle was parked, two masked men approached, and one of them opened fire, striking Santana. Both suspects fled the area on foot. Detectives have not yet identified a motive, but early findings suggest the shooting was an isolated incident.

Santana’s death has left his loved ones devastated. Described as a caring and loyal young man, Christopher’s life was cut short in an act of violence that remains unsolved. His family has now reached out to OSM (One Stop Media), urging the public to Share Share Share  in hopes that increased visibility will generate new leads for investigators.

“Someone out there knows something,” a family spokesperson said. “We need your help to bring these people to justice. Please don’t stay silent.”

The NHPD is asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area around the time of the shooting, or who may have information about the suspects, to come forward.
