With saddened hearts, the family and community share the news of the passing of Minister Lillie Mae Dingle Caldwell, 74, a devoted wife, loving family member, and faithful servant of God. Minister Caldwell, the beloved wife of Trustee Frank Caldwell, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 8, 2025, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina.
Born on July 1, 1951, in Summerton, SC, Minister Caldwell was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering faith. She dedicated her life to serving her family, her church, and her community, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and devotion. Known for her warm spirit, kind heart, and deep commitment to ministry, she touched countless lives through her service at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church and beyond.
Friends, family, and all who were blessed to know her will have the opportunity to pay their respects during a public viewing on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel in Manning, SC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church in her hometown of Summerton, SC. Following the service, Minister Caldwell will be laid to rest in the churchyard cemetery—a place that held great meaning for her throughout her life.
During this time of sorrow, the Caldwell family asks for continued prayers and support as they navigate the difficult days ahead.

Minister Lillie Mae Dingle Caldwell’s life was a testament to faith, love, and service.
