The Parker Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying potential victims connected to a serious ongoing investigation involving allegations of child sexual assault. Authorities have arrested Juan Carlos Hernandez (born April 23, 1985), who currently faces multiple felony charges stemming from offenses committed while he served as a coach.
Hernandez was taken into custody on August 8, 2025, and is charged with:
- Four counts of Sexual Assault on a Child – Position of Trust – Pattern (Colorado Revised Statutes 18-3-405.3(1)(2)(b), a Class 3 felony)
- Two counts of Aggravated Incest (Colorado Revised Statutes 18-6-302(1)(a), also a Class 3 felony)
The Parker Police Department is sharing Hernandez’s photo and information publicly following new developments uncovered through the continuing investigation. Hernandez was employed as a coach at Fusion Soccer Inc, operating under the name Rapids Youth Soccer, where he was in a trusted position working closely with children.
Authorities are urging parents, guardians, and community members to carefully review the photo of Hernandez and come forward with any information regarding potential crimes linked to him. If you suspect that Hernandez may have victimized your child or if you have knowledge of any criminal behavior, the Parker Police Department requests that you contact Detective D. Cashman immediately. Detective Cashman can be reached by email at dcashman@parkerco.gov or by phone at 303-805-6523.
It is important to emphasize that a charge is merely an accusation at this stage, and Hernandez is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Nonetheless, the police department is committed to ensuring the safety of children in the community and urges anyone with relevant information to come forward to help protect potential victims and bring justice.
This appeal reflects the department’s ongoing dedication to transparency, community partnership, and child protection. The Parker Police Department recognizes the sensitive nature of these allegations and encourages individuals to reach out confidentially, promising careful and professional handling of all tips and information.
Community vigilance and cooperation are vital in cases like this to prevent further harm and to support victims who may be struggling to come forward. The department encourages parents and guardians to have open, age-appropriate conversations with their children about personal safety and to report any suspicious behavior promptly.
As the investigation continues, the Parker Police Department will provide updates as appropriate and continue working diligently to address this deeply concerning situation.
