Kansas — It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Deanna Sommerfeld, who tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle crash in the early hours of August 8th. The devastating accident also left her husband, Mark Sommerfeld, seriously injured. He was promptly transported to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment, where he continues to recover.
Deanna’s passing has left an enormous void in the lives of her family, friends, and the wider community. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend to many. Deanna is survived by her husband, Mark, and their two sons, David and Quinton, who were the center of her life and the source of her greatest joy.
