I had the privilege of sharing the dais with Dawn on numerous occasions—at graduations, award ceremonies, and other significant events. Her presence was always commanding yet approachable, combining professionalism with warmth. She had an uncanny ability to make every person feel seen, heard, and valued, whether they were recipients of awards, students, or fellow advocates.
