Honoring the Life and Legacy of Danielle McMenamin ,A Tribute from Her Boxing Family

We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Danielle McMenamin, a cherished former fighter in our program and the devoted mother of Ricky Howarth Jr. Danielle was — and will always be — part of our boxing family. Her loss has deeply affected us all.

Danielle joined our gym at a young age and quickly made her mark, not just with her skill and drive, but with the heart she brought to every training session. She was tough, determined, and full of grit — a true fighter in every sense of the word. Whether she was throwing punches in the ring or showing up for the people she loved, Danielle gave it everything she had.

But Danielle’s strength went far beyond boxing. She was a loving mother, a loyal friend, and someone who carried an unshakable sense of resilience. Her dedication to her son, Little Rick, was inspiring. You could see the pride in her eyes whenever she talked about him. Her love was powerful, protective, and deeply rooted — and it will continue to live on through him.

To Little Rick, please know this: your mother’s strength runs in your veins. Her courage, her fire, and her love are all part of you. We know this loss is unimaginable, but you are not alone. Your boxing family is here for you — now and always.

Danielle’s passing is a tremendous loss, but her memory will continue to inspire us. She reminded us what it means to fight with heart, to love fiercely, and to live with purpose. We’ll carry her spirit with us every time we step into the ring and in every moment we support each other outside of it.

To her loved ones, friends, and all who are grieving — we send our deepest condolences. May you find comfort in the community that surrounds you and strength in the legacy Danielle leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Danielle McMenamin.

You will forever be a part of our story, our hearts, and our corner.

— With love and solidarity,

Your Boxing Family
