Rest in Peace: Deepest Sympathy to Family and Friends Following Fatal Traffic Crash at Mount Martin

It is with great sadness that we share the news of a tragic loss on the roads of Mount Martin. On the morning of August 12,2025, an 18-year-old man lost his life in a single-vehicle traffic crash on Mount Martin Gap Road.

At approximately 6:30 a.m., emergency services and police responded to the scene after a vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times. The driver, who was the sole occupant, sustained critical injuries and was sadly declared deceased at the scene.

The Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit has launched a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to come forward and assist in the inquiry.

This heartbreaking event is a somber reminder of the devastating consequences traffic incidents can have on families, friends, and communities. Our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends of the young man who passed away so suddenly.
