The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) has launched an investigation into the tragic and violent death of 47-year-old Rose Etienne, whose lifeless body was discovered on the evening of Tuesday, July 15th, bearing multiple chop wounds at a residence in Blue Hills, Providenciales.
At approximately 6:35 p.m., the Police Control Room received a call reporting the discovery. Officers and emergency medical personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon entering the premises, authorities confirmed the presence of Ms. Etienne, who was sadly pronounced deceased.
This heartbreaking incident is being treated as a suspected homicide, and detectives from the Serious Crime Unit are actively pursuing all leads as part of an ongoing investigation. At this time, no suspects have been arrested, and the motive remains unknown.
