Clint was much more than a husband, father, and grandfather—he was a beacon of light and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Known for his sharp wit, infectious sense of humor, and genuine kindness, Clint possessed a rare ability to make those around him feel seen, safe, and deeply valued. He embraced life with an open heart, passion, and an unyielding joy that inspired many.

His lifelong love story with his high school sweetheart and devoted wife, Heather, is a testament to the power of enduring love. Together, they were on the cusp of celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary on July 25, a milestone that reflected decades of shared dreams, challenges, and unbreakable bonds. Their home was a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, and love—a place where family and friends always felt welcome and cherished.

Clint was a proud and loving father to Lily (Kenny) Van Kirk and Red Van Kirk. Nothing brought him greater happiness than his role as Grampa to his beloved granddaughter, Anastasia, whose presence filled his life with boundless joy and pride. His family was the center of his universe, and every moment spent with them was a treasure.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Clint found peace, wonder, and inspiration in nature’s beauty. Whether camping beneath the stars, hiking serene forest trails, exploring zoos with his family, or simply walking barefoot along the beach, Clint savored the simple and meaningful moments that life offered. These experiences were sacred to him—times for connection, reflection, and adventure that nourished his spirit and brought him immense happiness.

Professionally, Clint was a dedicated and respected member of the team at R+L Carriers in Columbiana. His colleagues admired him for his unwavering work ethic, integrity, and commitment to excellence. He approached every task with sincerity and dedication, earning the respect and friendship of many.
