BIRMINGHAM, AL — July 18, 2025 — Authorities have identified the two men killed in separate, unrelated shootings in Birmingham just hours apart. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed the victims as Cameron Demijah Little, 23, and Corey Lavel Tremble, 38 — both residents of Birmingham.
Cameron Demijah Little Killed in East Lake Park Shooting
Late Wednesday night, Cameron Demijah Little, 23, lost his life in a shooting at East Lake Park. The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. on July 16, in the 100 block of 84th Street North.
Birmingham police officers responded to the park after the city’s ShotSpotter system detected about 10 rounds of gunfire in the area. When officers arrived on scene, they found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Cameron Little was critically injured and later died from his wounds. The second victim survived and is currently recovering. No arrests have been made, and police have not released information about potential suspects or motive.
