Bear, DE — July 11, 2025 — Joseph M. Greene, 42, of Milford, Delaware, was arrested Friday evening in connection with the fatal shooting of Kyle Tribble, a 37-year-old man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The deadly incident, believed to be domestic in nature, has left both communities shaken.
Greene was taken into custody without incident at approximately 6:45 p.m. in Bear, Delaware, according to Milford Police Sgt. Timothy Maloney. The arrest was made possible through a coordinated effort by the U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team (S.O.R.T.).
According to investigators, Kyle Tribble was killed the night before after an argument with Greene escalated into violence. Preliminary reports indicate that during the confrontation, Greene allegedly shot Tribble, resulting in fatal injuries. First responders were unable to save the victim.
