Bradford County, FL — A devastating act of violence unfolded Friday evening outside Auntie Lili’s Child Care Center in Bradford County, leaving a father dead and a community in shock. Authorities say 34-year-old Mindy Osteen allegedly shot 37-year-old Christopher Jones multiple times during what appeared to be a confrontation as both arrived at the center to pick up their children.
The incident occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of West Washington and North Lake streets. According to Bradford County Sheriff’s Office, witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots before seeing Jones collapse outside the child care facility.
