We were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Sub Officer Joe Crosse of the Ennistymon Brigade, Clare Fire & Rescue Service. His death has left a profound void not only in the hearts of his loving family and friends, but also among his close colleagues in the fire service, and the wider community of County Clare who knew and respected him.

Throughout his years in the Clare Fire & Rescue Service, he stood as a pillar of strength, courage, and calm during times of crisis. As Sub Officer in Ennistymon, Joe led by example—earning the admiration and respect of those who served alongside him and the gratitude of the countless individuals and families he helped through emergencies.
