Boyd County, KY — The Boyd County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that Isaiah Dinger-McCoy, age 18, of Worthington, Kentucky, was tragically killed in a two-vehicle collision late Friday night.
At approximately 11:50 PM on July 11, 2025, emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of State Route 5 and Laverne Court, where a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in a severe crash. Preliminary reports indicate that the SUV was traveling northbound on State Route 5 while Isaiah Dinger-McCoy was heading southbound on his motorcycle when the two vehicles collided.
Despite immediate response efforts, Isaiah Dinger-McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene by the Boyd County Coroner at 12:10 AM on July 12, 2025. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force injuries sustained in the collision.
