RUSCOMBMANOR, Pa. — A tragic multi-vehicle collision in Berks County claimed the life of one individual Saturday afternoon, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 1:07 PM on July 12, 2025, near the intersection of Fraser Road and Blandon Road in Ruscombmanor Township.
Preliminary investigation by state troopers revealed that a vehicle traveling eastbound on Fraser Road attempted to make a left-hand turn without proper clearance and collided head-on with a Mack Truck traveling in the opposite direction. The impact of the crash was severe, resulting in the death of the operator of the turning vehicle at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed the fatality but are withholding the victim’s name pending notification of next of kin. Family members are being contacted by officials, and out of respect, no further identifying details are being released at this time.
The driver of the Mack Truck sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The scene was quickly secured by emergency responders, and traffic in the area was rerouted for several hours while investigators worked to document the crash and clear debris.
