Yakima, Washington – It is with broken hearts and unimaginable sorrow that we share the devastating news of the passing of Zuriel Raymond Pollicino, who tragically lost his life on July 24, 2025, at just 21 years old. A life so full of potential, love, and energy was taken far too soon, leaving behind a void that can never truly be filled.
Born in 2004, Zuriel grew up in Yakima, Washington, where he was surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends who cherished his presence, his humor, and his compassionate heart. Known for his genuine kindness and his fiercely loyal nature, Zuriel had a spirit that lit up every room he entered. Whether it was his warm smile, his thoughtful words, or his willingness to stand up for others, he left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know him.
Zuriel was a young man full of promise—a dreamer and a doer. He had ambitions that stretched far and wide, and he was working hard to carve out a future for himself that reflected both his talents and his values. Friends say he was someone who made them feel seen and heard, someone who had the rare ability to connect with others on a deep level, even in silence.
He loved music, late-night talks, the outdoors, and spending time with the people he loved most. Zuriel was passionate about life, fiercely protective of his family, and endlessly encouraging to those around him. Whether offering a shoulder to cry on or cheering on someone else’s success, he was the kind of person who gave of himself freely—and always without expectation.
His passing has left those who loved him in a state of disbelief and grief. To lose someone so young, so vibrant, and so good is a tragedy that echoes beyond words. In this time of mourning, we are reminded just how precious and fleeting life is.
Zuriel is survived by his parents, siblings, extended family, and countless friends who will forever hold his memory close. The pain of his absence is overwhelming, but his legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will live on in each of them.
A memorial service to honor Zuriel’s life will be held in Yakima, with details to be announced in the coming days. All who knew him, loved him, or were touched by his spirit are welcome to attend and celebrate the beautiful soul that Zuriel was.
As we grapple with this heartbreak, we find strength in remembering the joy he brought into this world. Zuriel may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts.
