In Loving Memory of Emmalee Kathleen Jordan
Fort Wayne, Indiana
With hearts full of sorrow and love, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Emmalee Kathleen Jordan, who left this world far too soon on April 26, 2025, at the tender age of 11. Emmalee’s life, though brief, was filled with immense love, laughter, and light — a spirit that radiated joy and compassion to everyone she met.
Born to Brenda and Nathan Jordan, Emmalee was a bright, curious, and gentle soul whose presence brought warmth to her family, her friends, and her community. She shared an unbreakable bond with her younger brother, Everett, whom she adored with the protective and nurturing heart of a big sister. Her radiant smile, kind heart, and playful spirit left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her.
Emmalee loved crafting, reading fantasy books, spending time outdoors, and making handmade cards for her friends and teachers — small gestures that carried so much of her love. She was known for her imagination, her laughter that could fill a room, and her empathy beyond her years. Whether it was comforting a classmate or volunteering to help, Emmalee was the embodiment of kindness.
To celebrate and honor Emmalee’s life, a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Friends, family, and community members are welcome to attend and share stories, prayers, and memories that honor the joy she brought into the world.
In lieu of flowers, the Jordan family kindly requests that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, both organizations that provided loving support during Emmalee’s journey and held a special place in her heart.
As her family grieves this unimaginable loss, they ask for continued prayers, love, and support. Emmalee may no longer be with us in body, but her light will continue to shine through the many lives she touched — in the laughter of children, the kindness of strangers, and the love that endures even in sorrow.
“Though her time with us was short, the impact of Emmalee’s life will be everlasting.”
May she rest in eternal peace, wrapped in the arms of angels.
